Quite a bit of traffic runs through UP's Marion Intermodal Port and BNSF's Harvard yard in Marion, AR that never make it across the river into Memphis. Marion is just minutes from Memphis. UP is beginning to run some directional traffic through their intermodal ramp. Eastbound from Bald Knob, AR on the Memphis Sub into the yard and westbound on the Brinkley Sub to Pine Bluff out of the yard. The access to the two subs is at Presley Junction on the Memphis Sub via leased track from BNSF (Hulbert Lead) that runs N-S through West Memphis, AR. M.J.
