Union Pacific Old Timers Club

Just wanted to find out if anyone out there knows anything about or knows where I can find information on the “Union Pacific Old Timers Club.” I bought at an Antique Store
what looks like a model of a railroad tie. Its made out of aluminum, about five inches
long. Has two furrows that would be between the rails. I am guessing that it is a railroad
tie. But it also has printed on the top HARVEY. I don’t know if that has to do with the
Harvey Girls with the old UP hotel chain. On the bottom is a sticker stating Union Pacific
Old Timers Club, The Dalles, Oregon...If anyone can help, it would be great.

Can't help you with the UP Old Timers Club but I would guess that Harvey was the original owners name, as the Harvey Girls & Harvey Houses were assocated with the Santa Fe, not UP.

You could be right about the owners name. And I stand corrected on the Harvey Girls and Houses being associated with the Santa Fe.
