<br />I envy you and wish I could be in Glenwood Springs, too. I'm sure you already know how scenic the canyon is upstream from the depot, and there is a rest area or two on I-70 that should give you a view of the westbound train and still allow you to get into town to catch it at the station. <br /> Even though the weather may be chilly, the hot spring pool across from the depot is still great. I think the day fee is $8 or so. If you are going to give it a try, take a big thick bath towel or a robe, so you don't freeze between the water and the locker room. <br /> And please post pictures if you can.
