Ed dead Head exactly what part of they didn't see the train until the last second did you not understand. You can't beat a train if you don't know its there plain and simple. <br /> <br />Will A yellow sign put windows through the sight obstructions. Jeez. Maybe there would have been gates there if the railroads didn't charge $400 bucks apiece for the yellow signs and sign posts you mention. <br /> <br />And far as people going around gates I can furnish all the median barrier barriers (The thing you can't find) ...I cant find a thing that would have made the outcome any different...to keep them from going around. What year in the 1930's you reckon the first person was killed going around and STILL you all ain't figured it out. <br /> <br />Closeing crossings is the stupidous thing I ever heard of. Let's close down every other railroad track instead.
