Does anyone remember what Trains issue had an article about music and railroads? I can not find it using the online search function, but I know it exists. I remember an article with examples of songs and pictures of sheet music from the turn of the century.
I remember the article, but I'm thinking it might have been in Classic Trains, not in Trains?
Searching here in the Trains magazine forum, I did find a post from Sept 2017 referencing an apparently recent "Trains and Rails" article in Trains. Sounds like the article was primarily about the connections between railroads and folk music. Unfortunately, the string pretty quickly got off on a tangent about the stupid idea that Glenn Miller was a racist.
