Looks like they got the Merchants Bridge done.....

Now for MacArthur Bridge...

Reads like they also removed a clearence restriction on the MacArthur Bridge already:

So possibly finally I will see improvement in the run time of the Texas Eagle through St. Louis instead of the slow crawl or delays.

Alton & Southern?   Looks like they ripped off the C&NW logo.

The A&S used to be jointly owned by the C&NW and MP.  Now it is owned by UP.

In the Summer of 1966 I worked HN Cabin where the A&S crossed both the B&O and PRR at grade.

As I recall, listening to the local St. Louis radio when driving to the location and hearing the weather state that it was 98 degrees at 10:30 PM

Never too old to have a happy childhood!
