BNSF vs Snow Drift...BNSF wins!
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, January 24, 2005 3:15 PM

Took me a couple tries in different towns to finally get one to come out half way decent. BNSF and FURX power were in command of this H train through the fresh snow in central MN. Shown here their blasting through a snowplow ridge that was yet to be cleaned off the tracks.

The engineer knew I had gotten a good shot and gave me an extra whistle and wave. I would hope to see others like this with all the snow in the north east over the weekend.

Thanks for the kind words all. It was 40 degrees yesterday so the snow is leaving quickly. More as I find them, or visit my photo gallery. Stay warm and safe.
