UP is combining all track work into one train.  Maybe this is what CSX and NS need to clear their ROWs?

Bringing jobs back to the railroad from contractors - isn't that the very anthisis of what PSR is all about?

Not to mention all the money they spent prettying up those nice yellow gons for a MOW train. On CSX, the MOW rolling stock all look like they last saw a paint shop during the Nixon administration.

The photo showing E or F units is sure out of place.

Still in training.

You can blame that on the RT&S web staff - they just know what happens at rail level and below and have little concern what happens from the rail top and above.

(Yawn) - OK, the Yellow Peril bought or copied a Georgetown Slot train. After 10 years of almost solid use of a slot train, it finally dawned on the operating/financial  dim-bulb supervision that owning might be better than leasing. It'll dawn on them to do the same for undercutters? Went through this cycle once already.

What's old is new again. (until the spread sheet watchers wreck a good thing AGAIN.....with all the power laid-up and parked, they couldn't be seen wasting money on shiny new toys....)

Mudchicken Nothing is worth taking the risk of losing a life over. Come home tonight in the same condition that you left home this morning in. Safety begins with ME.... cinscocom-west
