[/quote] About 50 seconds-60 seconds,then the good hearted conductor (guess what I am) ,goes over while we are moving and hits the "ALERTER" button that resets it for another minute or so.Hopefully by then, said hogger is "through"....Hoggers will usually do this when on an uphill grade or on a clear signal,thus not putting said Conductor in a bind......If said Hogger needs more time ,we just keep hitting the "Alerter" and whistling at crossings until the "paperwork" is completed....And you thought a conductor did'nt do anything!!!!!!!!!!! OF course this is all a fantasy, in real life, FRA rules would NEVER permit this. Fact of the matter is ,"Engineers NEVER go to the bathroom"....thats why they are so MEAN & RUDE...would'nt you be ?
