here in northern Ontario the snowplows are out 24/7 once it starts snowing. One morning last week we got nearly 2 ft. of snow.[:D] So now there is about 3-4 feet of snow here, with snowbanks up to 8 ft. high.

I've been reading all this hype about a bit of snow you've been having in the States.
Like Aaron I agree we in Ontario take it in stride & enjoy our winters (At least I do).
Used to spend a lot of time in Philly in the winter & found it amusing that if a storm was forecast for the following day, They would anounce all the school colsings, When upon the next day the storm would bypass Philly, all the kids would still have the day off.
Our son and daughter were here for Christmas & driving in his car I told him not to take the corners so fast. He ended up in a snowbank, no shovel in the car & luckily some kids dug him out. When visiting them during the winter in Philly, I wont drive during a storm account the drivers there arent used to winter driving and I have to protect my
Toyota.
