North Korea's Rail Launched Missile
Posted by BEAUSABRE on Friday, October 15, 2021 1:32 AM

The NORKs have released video of launching a 500 mile range SRBM from a boxcar. 500 miles puts all of free Korea and part of Japan under threat

Fat Boy must have had a set of Lionels when he was a kid.

A Chinese friend called him Third Fatty.

I think the thing is pretty neat.  It certainly puts the "ain't prototype" Lionel complainers in their place.  Wonder if he's considering a lumber loader with a long rubber belt.

Anyway, it'd sure be fun to bring a model of one of THOSE to the club.  Probably have to stay with the HE warhead, though.

Nonsense.  In O scale that's nearly a 10-mile range; even HO it's over 5.  That's well over a safe distance for any physics package that would fit.

But you would be advised to be sure the club is not downwind if you fire.

Don't worry, the Marines have the improved version.

It would probably make them easier to track, not harder.  Their rail network is much smaller than their road network.

How many tunnels does NK have to hide their missle trains in?

Never too old to have a happy childhood!
