In June I rode the Lewis and Clark Explorer to Astoria, Oregon. <br /> <br />When I was a kid, my dad was an engineer for the Alaska pipeline. He took my brother and I on a trip by train from Seward to Anchorage in our car on a train of flat cars. We then took a train from Anchorage to Fairebanks behind a consist of early F units. I'll never forget the Sourdough pancakes.
