I do have a book on the "Union Pacific 1977-1980" by George Cockle.It does show some internal drawings,though not very good.There is a photo though of the internal part of the unit,in clear format.I'd be glad to send you a few copies,then if you want more,I'll see what I can come up with.Model Railroader did an article on the GP 9 in the December 2002 issue.Hope this helps. <br />Andrew
