What is "glazing"?

Hi Daniel-- <br /> <br />Glazing refers to the glass windows on the equipment. It's sort of an archaic term, but still used in the architectural and window business. <br /> <br />Glazing on current RR equipment has to meet the federal requirements in 49 CFR 223, which have to do with resistange to breakage and impact. So when you hear someone refer to "Part 223 glazing", that's what they are talking about. <br /> <br />Hope this helps
