I have to say, this is a nice effort on the part of GE Transportation to give something to the railfan community.

Yeah, but... They don't offer a link to Trains.com. Bergie?

For the most part my favorite locomotives are EMDs. However, why dislike GEs?

Curious. I didn't see a mention of the GE Museum on the grounds of their locomotive factory in Erie, Pa.

It is there, at the bottom of the Railfan Facts/Trivia page.

I wonder why all of the pages are secure.

Thanks ericsp for finding a mention buried way deep in the site instead of of being highlighted.

This site states that museum hours are 830A-1130A .

The Museum of Erie GE History site shows "June-September, Saturdays, 10A-2P, Oct-May, First Saturday only, or by appointment."

Don't these people talk to each other?

The museum site is : www.goerie.com/erieyesterday/museum_of_erie_ge_history.html

Heard good things about the museum and always say I will visit it some day.

How come GE doesn't have a link to this site?
