When reading a post on the NEWS thread, there is an option to view Comments has the option  MOST RECENT | OLDEST TO NEWEST Recently I have noted that if I change to Oldest, the number of comments is reduced. Today, the comments for Texas governor expresses 'full support' for Texas Central, then backtracks shows 5 comments but if I click the Oldest to Newest option, the number goes to 0 and all the comments disappear.

Kalmbach, you have a problem.

As of 3:50 this afternoon (October 8th) I can access the comments for the newswire piece in question in either order.  I toggled back and forth between the two displays to be sure.

However, I have my posts in the forums set by preference (in 'Settings') to display 'newest to oldest' (otherwise following longer threads become agonizing) and I find that the Model Railroader site completely ignores this ... at least it does so for me.  Perhaps it does for everyone.  THAT is a problem.

What I find infuriating is that each Kalmbach form operates differently from all the rest.  ????????????

Never too old to have a happy childhood!
