Chattanooga Choo Choo

I have always wondered if the Glenn Miller song represents an historically accurate journey on a specific railroad or train. The song gives lots of clues. Track 29, Pennsylvannia station at 3:45PM, read a magasine, and your're in Baltimore, Carolina in the morning, and so on.
Can anyone help?

I'm heading to the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel in Chattanooga Next Month. I'm interested in the background of this song as well, and I hope to find something on it. If I do, I'll let you know.
