SPLC database
Posted by Tim Dressel on Friday, May 10, 2019 10:24 AM

Is anyone aware of an SPLC (standard point location code) database, containing GPS locations for North America? I would settle for CN Rail. We are building an interactive rail map within our GIS system.

Am more interested in freely available databases, but an inexpensive one would be OK as well.

With regards,

Tim

Talk to the AAR and FRA - they would be the 'clearing house' for all the carrier generated data and I suspect it would be considered propritary intellectual property.  As such I doubt that it would be free.
