Passengerfan is correct. Under Amtrak the entire onboard service crew (dining car staff, lounge attendants, car attendants) stay onboard for the entire trip in a crew dorm. The Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Conductor and Assistant Conductors all change at different crew changes depending upon their particular labor agreement. <br /> <br />LC
