Next month the family are going to Maui for over a week. As I'm not into beaches or water I'd like to see something I would be intrested in. Is there anything to see there?
I have no idea if this is still there, but there at least used to be the Puunoa Sugar Cane Train that ran north out of Lahaina on Maui. Station (and turntable) is on Limahana Pl (near Honoapiilani Hwy (State 30)). Steam loco and a couple of open air tourist cars.

According to the latest "Trains" magazine "Tourist Trains Guidebook" I've got (2017) the Suger Cane Train was still active at that time.
