When cars get over 40 years old they can no longer be used in interchange service. Certain cars are allowed 50 years. Also, older tank cars that are single hulled or do not meet the new EPA or FRA regs are also being parked in droves. All of these cars will likely meet the torch in the near future. <br /> <br />LC
