zardoz SD70Dude But nothing ever came of all that, and now the trainmasters sneak onto stopped locomotives to try and catch people sleeping. Wouldn't you just love to catch one of those college-educated idiot Trainmasters napping at their desk (with photos of course)?

If only ours were college-educated, some have no prior experience besides working at McDonalds.
And since managers performing their normal duties are not subject to the HOS regulations there is also no requirement for them to show up fit and rested for duty, prepared to work the maximum hours legally allowed.

And by the same token - there is no HOS to prevent their supervisors from keeping Trainmasters on site and on the job for 20 - 24 - 30 - 36 hours. Been there done that; was young and dumb enough to think I was being a 'team player'.
Never too old to have a happy childhood!
