Have been hearing reports that the CP Holiday train will have it's Christmas lights off as it travels on Trackage rights on Ns.Too many people decided to tresspass on railroad property to see the train last year.Although no final decision has been made,I can't blame the railroad for it's decision. My brother and I will still be watching trains that evening.
stay safe

On regular Cp route they would keep the lights on.The move through my area is a "trackage rights" one on NS.Hope you get good pictures.
Waterloo Indiana officials have just recieved word that the train would be "Dark".Going to go watch with my brother anyway.
Good Morning
Thank you to CP for keeping the train lights on.I heard on my scanner the dispatcher request extra noise at Waterloo due to people too close to the tracks.Ns traffic at Butler was very busy. The Holiday train even had to wait for another Cp train to pass them before they could come down and make the turn.Hope everyone has safe and Happy Holidays ahead.
