Well that's wonderful!

Let's see, Canadian Naional has their "Santa Train,"  Canadian Pacific has their "Holiday Train,"  many rail museums and tourist lines around the country do a "Polar Express."

Has anyone figured out how to get the "Grinch That Stole Amtrak" to allow the US Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" train to run with Amtrak equipment?  Or is that a lost cause?

Time for a little musical interlude, and give it a few seconds to load.  Smile, Wink & Grin

And I should have added earlier the Susquehanna is running their "Toys for Tots" train the weekends of December 1st and 2d and December 8th and 9th in New Jersey and New York. If anyone wants details for stops just ask.

Oh what the hell, here it is anyway...

And here's a head-end ride video of a Susquehanna Toys for Tots train from several years ago...

It's got a rock music sound track. I don't mind it but some of you may want to turn the sound down.  And give it a few seconds to load.

Maybe someone of importance somewhere will see these links and be a little ashamed that a small regional like the Susie-Q can spare a locomotive and consist for a good cause like Toys for Tots and a big outfit like Amtrak can't.
