Has the CP posted its plans on where the eleven new sidings are going tobe installed?
When was this announced? I have not heard of any of these plans. Are you able to post a newspaper article regarding this plan for the railroad?

I saw that as well and I believe they stated almost all those capacity improvements would be made in Canada not the United States. The article stated they are happy with their extension of CTC to the Portal N.D. border crossing. Though I think they said one or two of the sidings would be on the Mississippi River line South of the La Crosse river crossing to improve flows there. I think they mentioned Marquette or Sabula, Iowa but I can't remember exactly.
Traffic on the DM&E is picking up to the West Line to Chicago apparently. It's either that or more freight is flowing to Kansas City.
I was up at Portal in Sept and it did not look like they had done anything on the N side still looked like gravel ballast. I worked at Portal 50 years ago sure not the same we could move back and forth across the boarder with just a wave. I wouldn't want to try that now.
