On the year end review of Track Side, your picture of the BNSF coming through the bridge is great. What is the location?

Yes, that is a fantastic shot. I do not understand why that one was never submitted during the contest.

Maybe the theme could be "vertical".

Yes, that photo got my attention! I thought it was a type of coaling tower.

Indeed you are, Dave! (You didn't cheat by looking at my website, did you?)

This particular photo is from one of the few times Bergie and I shot trains together in 2004. The original premise of Trackside with Mike and Erik (it does sound better that way, don't you think?) was for the two of us to go someplace and shoot our own interpretations of the same train, scene, etc. That lasted about three installments, for several reasons...

- there's only so far from the office you can go during a lunch hour
- we both lead busy lives away from this place
- the last thing we want to do is vacation with one another
- when we do go on long trips like this one in in May, Bergie ends up eating all my snacks

For those who are interested, there are over 200 other photos I shot with the Digital Rebel in the last year at www.mikeyuhas.org. I also recently put up some audio from a few trackside defect detectors.

Happy holidays to all!!!

Nope, I did not look on your site. I saw a video once and that bridge was in there and plus there aren't many bridges in the area that the BNSF crosses in Wisconsin or nearby areas. I'm just good[:D]!
