"original" Louisiana southern Rwy: info
Posted by caboose63 on Sunday, July 23, 2017 3:49 PM

I' am interested in the original Louisiana Southern which existed until 1993, when it was absorbed by the Alabama Great Southern. The only thin i know is that most business on it came from truck farms along the line. this is not the Louisiana southern that is owned by WATCO.

There is information on many shortline railroads that can be found by googling the names of the roads. I just looked at the information on the Louisiana Southern (which came into the Southern System fold) which runs south from New Orleans.
