Does that mean they will pursue rail traffic more aggressively now?
CSX will be his undoing if he does plan to go there. CSX has been planning for the last 20 years to reduce it's Operating ratio and on every investor call they say they are making progess there. Now you can ask them how other RR companies accomplished the goal in 7 years or less but you will never get a straight answer..............then when the CFO comes on you will hear the refrain.
"We thought we would do better this quarter but ran into some unexpected headwinds..........blah, blah, blah" I used to be an investor but after 2-3 years of that BS on the investor call I almost turned into a alcholic. Been a happy UP investor ever since. At least they are honest on their investor calls.
