The Trusted traveler NEXUS program that I see is only for car drivers that I know of. I dont drive so is there somthing for me?
A regular passport or passport card would be required.
CandOforprogress, you’ve totally baffled me. How can something you “see,” assumedly on your computer screen, be only for vehicle drivers? What difference does it make if something you “see” on a computer screen is utilized by someone with a driver’s license or not? If you are disabled and can’t legally operate a motor vehicle on the roadways, there is typically State issued I.D. cards. I know because my mother-in-law has one. On the other hand, if you are a minor (perhaps way under age), there must be something available, perhaps parental authority, which can be used unless it is illegal for minors to use NEXUS, whatever it is.
Honestly, Candoforprogress, does the following sentence make sense? Railfans are especially adept at photography because they deal with the supernatural, which can legally be purchase by minors. It doesn’t make sense to me. If it does to you, rocket science people surely would want to talk to you.
Some of your posts sort of make sense after rereading them a number of times, and letting a day or two go by, but this thread baffles me. If you wonder why, reread the first paragraph. Please advise what “foor” is. Is it perhaps Star Trek transporter related that will put the railroads out of business?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- K.P.’s absolute “theorem” from early, early childhood that he has seen over and over and over again: Those that CAUSE a problem in the first place will act the most violently if questioned or exposed.
K.P.: If you think C&O is unclear, maybe you ought to reread your own post.

Was that from another of his posts?

I suspect foor is a typo for foot.
C&NW, CA&E, MILW, CGW and IC fan
To dakotafred and schlimm …
My own typo, since corrected, was caused by being totally exhausted and trying to respond to something that was very confusing.
That weird material was only an example of the illogical and impossible to understand.
A typo for “foot,” you say? What is a foot passenger? Maybe it was “for” …
OK, I say we cool it. Let’s all meet at a centrally located bar. Scotty, where are you …
Best

Nexus can be used at some airports at least, and some border crossings. Not sure where they would taken where Amtrak is concerned, but you could ask before traveling.

I doubt it was "for." See his post: "Nexus Passport for train/bus/air/foor passengers acros (another of his typos/misspellings)" Some folks do cross the border on foot (pedestrians) I suppose. And r is next to t on QWERTY keyboards.

"Foor" is actualy "Foot" Passengers---since I use public cimputers here that are well beaten into give me some slick here slack...

Here is the 'official' application process from the Government site.

I'm much more concerned with that poor Canadian lodging-house occupant who is apparently getting trampled by all the foor traffic.
