The TRAINS Magazine Newswire and INVISIBLE Trains

I was saddened that the TRAINS Magazine Newswire did NOT have any news clip or a photo today of the opening of Metrolink’s Perris Valley Line yesterday in Southern California.

I guess remote control reporting doesn’t work.  And, I think, their offering $10,000 for photos hasn’t inspired any to submit photos for some strange reason. (Hehehe.)

For those that want to read the PVL story …

And, for those that want to see a photo ...

Now, watch, the Newswire will run a story NOW and use this thread as their source …

I’ve got to stop drinking Jack Daniels …

No, no, everything in moderation. You've got good taste IMHO.

In the same paper, another article entitled "New rail line seen as transit tipping point" was posted:

We'll have to wait and see if the overblown title has any prediction value. A few Metrolink trains in Riverside county is not central Los Angeles with often SRO light rail.
