Not necessarily trying to start a new topic., I haven't checked in on here in ages...Wondering if the flood in Houston did any damage to Ed and his family home.....Quentin

out of town for the winter. Cool

The Weather Channel has been reporting some 20 inches or so of rain down in Houston... Ed may have traded railroading for Ark building??Captain

Quentin, good to hear from you.  You might want to go to the "Chatterbox" for that info. He did post several pictures of his neighborhood.

Hey, thanks for checking!

Doing fine, my house is on a very high spot, no flooding in the 50 plus years I have lived here...other not so lucky.

Some places got 24 inches of rain in 24 hours, and if you live near the San Jacinto river, the time to clear was Sunday!

Pretty much know what streets and freeways flood, and which are passable, so not to much trouble.

Quentin, it was good hear from you after all these moons.

It's also good to know that Ed has not had severe problems on account of the heavy rainfall.
