UP Muskogee, OK to Dallas Main about to flood
Posted by CMStPnP on Sunday, December 27, 2015 7:50 PM

Drove down Highway 69 in Eastern Oklahoma today and it looks like UP's Dallas to Muskogee Line is about to flood near EUFAULA, OK.   Water creeping up along the ballast and only about a foot from the rail head top.     Is this ex-KATY?

The UP south of East St. Louis (Chester Sub) and BNSF's River Sub will go under very soon.

After the last time this area flooded there was talk that all signal bungalows would be put on stilts to prevent their being flooded.  anyone one know if that happened ?.   Maybe part of PTC being installed  ?.

Most already are on "stilts" along the river.

More than 5" above top of rail does in most, if not all traction motors.
