Are the Silver service trains scheduled for elimination Oct. 1. Does anyone know which trains(18) might be cancelled Thanks for your replies

If Congress does not suply Amtrak with 1.2 billion dollars by October 1, 2002 the following trains will be cut: Sunset Limited, Southwest Chief, California Zypher, Coast Starlight, Empire Builder, Texas Eagle, City of New Orleans, Lake Shore Limited, Capital Limited, Cardinal, Kentucky Cardinal, Cresent, Twilight Shoreliner, Three Rivers, Pennsylvanian, Silver Star, Silver Meteor, and the Silver Palm. Also regarding the Silver Service not only will those trains be cut in October, but on April 28 the Silver Palm will drop its Sleeping Car and Dining Car services.
