Thanks to the magazine and staff for not churning out  yet another  holiday issue dripping with saccharine tales of Santa trains and ophanages. Yes

You mean REAL eggnog, don't you?

My grandmother was not in favor of imbibing alcoholic beverages. On one occasion, when he was quite young, My uncle Will somehow was given some real eggnog. About the same time, he also was given some licit eggnog--and commented on the difference in taste; thereupon my grandmother told him, "Will, that had ingredients in it"--so Uncle Will cried, "I want some 'gredients!"

I got mine yesterday.  Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus, and a cheerful customer service department at Kalmbach Publishing.

I think the answer is to ship the magazine out by rail.  I have a letter we found in our first house.  On the front it was postmarked somewhere in New York.  On the back, it was postmarked in Sioux Falls, SD the very next day!  So it appears that all Kalmbach has to do is send it by train.  Since we're both on the Milwaukee Road, it shouldn't be a problem-right? Murphy Siding

          I got mine yesterday.

And today, the January issue is available online.

Is paper so last century?
