Look all around you. The american dream has become a long labored "grasp" where it used to be nearly a "shoe in" for anybody that wanted it. <br /> <br />All the "wonders of competition" have been most successful in making margins thinner, for the companies lucky enough to survive, and a great portion of the Jobs that were exportable have been done so. <br /> <br />The Gov't doesn't even have incentives to "make jobs" like they once did, instead they do NAFTA type trips to stiff Joe American, whenever practical.
