On the Highway it's funny, for 20+ years the locals have been lobbying hard to get I-69 extended from Indianapolis to either Evansville, or Memphis. With the Fed always putting the kibosh on it saying "But, there's not sufficient NEED for such a highway" Then the Clinton Administration drums up NAFTA, the Fed comes in and says "Hey guys, good news! We're gonna do the I-69 thing you've been asking for, ALL THE WAY DOWN TO TEXAS!" Now, the Locals are the ones saying "But gee,....come to think about it, there's no real need for such a road"...etc
