But even if the labeling had been corrected to what the law would have accepted, it would not have made any difference in how the oil was shipped. They say the oil was as flammable as gasoline, but the MM&A train of 73 tank cars of that particular tank car design was perfectly acceptable for shipping the oil that was in them.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva;font-size:small;">So the massive fire in Lac-Megantic was nothing that should not have been expected. The improper labeling had no relationship to the fire.</span></p>
