[/quote] why would bnsf prefer a matchup with ns? why do rumors abound matching up with csx? all four systems have chicago, st. louis and memphis as common points. bnsf could theoretically reach the east coast with either ns or csx, but bnsf/ns is the most discussed merger. why?
