Why not ethanol locomotives???? (Love to see that in combination with an Alco which ordinarily would spew smoke [:)].) Really, it should work--ethonal will ignite, and it would probably only require minor modifications to a diesel engine. That would get people to stop complaining about railroads being poluting, and start looking at the real trouble--automobiles. I use my bicycle, and we could all use the exercise.
