<p><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva;font-size:small;">To anwswer my question about the disappeard thread, forum member <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Variogarmin</span> posted comments that questioned the workability of taking grade crossings out of private operation by the railroads and placing them under the purview of the public sector, along with changing the liability so that railroads could not be sued for crossing accidents. This is the course of action advocated by the report linked to my original post in this thread. </span></p>
