A few weeks back she was wearing red ones. [:)]

Today's weather is rain. Then this afternoon changing into freezing rain and snow mix. Funny, the are saying the high today will be 41 but it is only 38 now. They are also saying up to an inch (of snow) on grassy area but not accumulating on the roads. It will drop down below freezing tonight, then the next two days are going to be cold.

Brrrrr, maybe Mookie will lend me her earmuffs. [:D]

Now for some humor, train humor at that. [:o)] Last week, on my normal day to be the sandman, I saw a NS engine that was meant to run long hood forward. [:0] It had the old conventional cab but was still set up to run long hood forward. As I pasted by the front door (actually the back door since it is a long hood forward operation) I noticed on the control stand it said, "Directional Horn" and had an arrow pointing to the back (would have been front if in normal operation). I thought, "Now isn't that funny!" As I was passing by the long hood section I saw the horn, a nice 5 chime one, with all 5 chimes pointed to the wrong direction. If the normal operation of the engine was long hood forward then a majority of the chimes should have pointed to the long hood and not to the cab. That just goes to show you, it doesn't take a genius to work for a railroad. [:0] [B)] [8] We never put a long hood forward loco in a lead position here. Our train crews will not accept it. But NS does run long hood forward if that is the loco in the lead position.

Oh my, it is after 11 am already. I must make a run to the store. [:(]

Everyone take care.
