It certainly is a good thing the 3 little kittens were NOT the pie. [:o)] [}:)] [:D]

Or was that the 3 little blackbirds? ? ? [B)]

Well the "major" weather change is here. I am not sure it turned out to be the major change they predicted but it certainly is not the spring like weather to which we have become accustomed. Our temp is 39, but with a 13 mph wind from the NW the feels like temp is 31. So it definately is coat weather. [:(!] You guys up north are probally happy the single digits they predicted are not happening. Yet they are saying next week will be a little worse. We shall see. I always take a wait and see approach. Weather a week away is too hard to predict with any real accuracy, well that is what I think anyway. [;)]

I hope I am not forced to work our next Monday holiday. I have Tuesday and Wednesday off as they are my normal days off. I am taking a Safety Day on the Thursday following President's Day. So hopefully I will have a 4 day weekend and will go to Missouri (weather premitting) for a late Thanksgiving and Christmas. (I have unopened Christmas presents waiting for me.) They are saying since I missed Thanksgiving and Christmas that we will be having a nice TURKEY dinner. [:D] [:p] [:D] My turkey dinner here was a TV dinner and it was no so good. [B)] [V] So I am looking forward to family, friends, and FOOD. [;)] [:D] [:p]

Hey ED

I was servicing a train Saturday and found something a little different. I opened the icebox (as I always do to check it and throw away "JUNK" of needed) and found silver cans. At first I thought they were sodas. Then I saw a star on them. I thought oh no . . . someone had BEER on this engine. [:0] So I quickly put them into a blue ice bag and carried them off. Later, I decided to look at them again. The large white star has a blue, red, and white "Texas" centered in the star. Then in the upper left hand part of Texas are the letters " P T R A " . By now Ed is already laughing as he knows these cans are just their "bottled" drinking water. All the other railroads use real bottled water, this is the first time I have seen "canned" bottled water. [;)] [:)] I have 4 of them I am keeping for souvineers. [8D] A guy, who will be retiring late this year, said he has a whole case of them. [:0]

Well, got to go, tons of stuff to do before time for work.

Everyone TAKE CARE.
