I noticed awhile ago that CM&Q hired the MM&A HR manager, a sign perhaps that they would bring over more former MM& A employees. In my view that's what should happen: they have the experience already on that line, and they would probably be most receptive to more stringent safety measures. Moreover most were probably capable and had nothing to do with the accident.
If they didn't hire most of the rank and file employees I don't know where they could dig up a work force to run the property in that area at the snap of their fingers.
