Would have landed at Rowe on Wabash's old Streator Branch (abandoned 1979 ICC Docket AB10_6x)...first Patoka, then Metamora and now Rowe (If the abandonment deliberators only had a crystal ballBlindfold)

Too bad:

(1) The Enbridge Terminal is on the wrong side of I-55 from Pontiac. (at the foot of Mt. Garbage)

(2) IDOT will most likely drag their feet as this heavy haul terminal would interfere with their HSR aspirations between Chicago and St Louis on the old Alton/GM&O/SPCSL.

(3) Land developers & environuts in the Vermillion River Basin will howl.

Mudchicken Nothing is worth taking the risk of losing a life over. Come home tonight in the same condition that you left home this morning in. Safety begins with ME.... cinscocom-west
