10,000 - 9907 = 93 Hey, we are on the downhill now. [:D] [:D] [:D] Does anyone know why it was so WARM last night. I think we had a strong wind from the east. There must have been a large amount of heat that found its way into the air and came west. You know I think maybe a certain birthday cake might have had something to do with it. [:D] [;)] [:p] Now, all joking aside, it is time to email a few congresspeople and voice a fearful concern about the firing of Mr. Gunn. This firing is an outrage and just another attempt to rid us of Amtrak. Mr. Gunn was doing one heck of a job, too good for the current administration. You know if we could remove people from Federal office like California can remove governors I think certain people in bathrow DC would be put out on their keister. Next subject--adjusting to 3rd shift--well having some gains and some losses their. I had to get some coffee last night as I was operating on only 4 hours of sleep. So far today, I slept about 2 1/2 hours. So after the noon news it is back to bed for hopefully more sleep. Now it is time to look up my elected officials numbers or email addresses and start voicing some opinions. Edit I have emailed 2 of my congresspeople. I have received an automatic reply from one already. I STRONGLY suggest that if you support Amtrak that you email your elected officials TODAY. Mineta has used false figures and out and out lies to condemn Amtrak. Seems like he got his "style" from higher up. Mineta should be fired and the whole Amtrak board dismissed. By the way, Mineta sits on the Amtrak board.
