Mookie, I see on the radar that it's "Auntie Em" time out your way tonight. Stay safe and keep paws over eyes, while you're under the bed. It's supposed to cross Iowa and hit the sandbar later. Glad to hear everyone up north pulled thru last night unscathed. Been a busy week here on the sandbar. 2 grandaughters had birthday parties on seperate nights. Harley (the wonder mutt) now has a prison record and is bionic and I assume GPS trackable. The kids let her out (to do her thing) and then they started watching TV and forgot about her for an hour. She decided it was a nice night for a "WALKABOUT" and also it was garbage night in town, so a good night for a little dine and dash. Well, the new cop (with bad John Wayne attitude) picked her up and took her to county shelter. Multiple charges: dog at large (she only weighs 8 lbs?), no collar and tag, and no updated rabies shot. She probably would have got 1 year and probation but I got a good lawyer and got her off with court supervision and fees. Shots, current tag and holding fees came to 88 dollars. Also had to pay 10 dollars to have a micro-processor chip installed in her shoulder. So I guess some satellite can track her movements? That blip on the screen isn't going to move much! From the couch to the chair, that's exciting. More of our money squandered by the government. Anyway, she's now a "hardened criminal" with a record, so now she'll probably want to get some tatoos. Cubs have actually been winning since I burned my hat!!! Now I need to burn my Ford racing hat to help the Nascar teams. Am going thread hopping for awhile, so I'll stop in later for a soda. Willy
