I really don't know the answer, but I know that there is no routine involved with resetting a deadman pedal, so that dangerous element of resetting while half or more asleep does not exist.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;"><span style="font-size: small;">But the question I can't answer is this:</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;"><span style="font-size: small;">Can an engineer sleep while holding down the deadman pedal? It seems like it would be possible, but I don't know. </span></span></p>
