how about some kentucky country ham and some biscuits and red eye gravy. reckon there's a railroad diner with that on the menu? i can enjoy it morning, noon, or evening. i used to like tennessee country ham but i'm having to watch the salt intake and the tennessee version is very salty. of course, a side dish of grits and enough red eye gravy to handle the biscuits and the grits. folks up above the ohio river have their hash browns which don't take to gravy like grits do, but since jimmy carter, you can find grits on the aisles of all the major supermarkets even in yankeeland. theo sommerkamp crosstie@wowway.com
