OK, I know it's a diner and all-but all you guys and gals wanna talk about is food! Yech! Over-rated! I eat once a day (whether I need it or not- except on weekends with my daughter...I'll cheat and eat twice! [sometimes]) <br />So a non-food related topic...just got my new raildriver today- AWESOME! Probably the closest I'll ever get to the real thing. With a good speaker system (Altec Lansing) with sub running MTS it is just incredible. I'm gonna have to call in sick tomorrow so I can play! Anyone else have one? <br />[/quote] <br /> <br /> <br />Well I tried to change the topic off of food and on to something else but someONE put it back on food. Now I won't give any name <Mookie> and I won't point any fingers <Mookie> and I certainly wouldn't throw a cup of coffee <maybe a wet noodle>. Speaking of throwing food there is a restaurant in Missouri, near Branson, where they throw hot rolls to you. I have never been there but my family has. I love hot yeast rolls. Now I wouldn't want to make anybody hungry <Noah> just because I memtioned hot yeast rolls but let me tell you I like them with lots of melted butter. Now some people might want to put butter and honey <Ed> on them and that would be ok too. Then again some people might want butter and picante sauce <Dan>. Some people might like them without anything on them <KEV> [:D] [}:)] [;)] But now I certainly wouldn't want to make anyone hungry but you know hot rolls and pinto beans <Paula> might be ok too. I just had Cream of Potato soup so I am not hungry now, and it is 130 am anyway. Now speaking of potatoes and wanting to turn the topic to trains < [:D] > you know GN or NP (one of them I forget which) was famous for serving very large baked potatoes. When I say large I mean LARGE. Now wouldn't a nice big baked potato with lots of hot melted butter and ham and cheese and broccoli be good about now. HMMM, I am making myself hungry. [;)] I don't have any potatoes to bake and Wendy's is now closed so no baked potato for Jim. [:(] [B)] [:0] <br /> <br />Hey we haven't talked about donuts or other baked items for breakfast. I like Long Johns with maple icing. Caramel is ok but I like the maple a little better but it is kinda hard to find. Heat them a little and put LOTS of butter on them and they are mighty fine eating. [:p] Of course don't forget a nice large, cold, glass of milk. I put my glasses in the freezer and chill them before I put the milk in them. Oh, boy, does it make the milk icy cold and good. [:D] [:p] [:)] <br /> <br />Hey Mookie, invite Nora to the coffee shop, I don't think she has been in yet. [:(] <br />
