This was before dessert pizzas were ever thought of or made. We had a young couple with a small child and the child wanted a chocolate pizza. I did some quick thinking and decided it was possible. Just add some chocolate pudding to the crust (no chesse or meat toppings) and bake like a regular pizza. We just happened to be across the street from an IGA so I ran over and bought a can of chocolate pudding and made them a chocolate pizza (no charge). They were amazed that we would go to that much trouble for them since this wasn't normal at that time. Dessert pizzas now are common but not then.
